Bio 

For the past 20 years, JohnPaul Grauer has worked in the field of security and protective services. JohnPaul holds a master's in business, and a master's in philosophy and is currently finishing his Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology.  His experience as a Certified Protection Specialist includes executive protection and celebrity protection. Furthermore, he is also a professional trainer who specializes in close-quarter battle (CQB) tactics and firearm tactics. Known for his commitment to public safety and policy, JohnPaul is widely regarded as a leader in this field. As a result of JohnPaul's work with individuals and organizations in, both private industry and government, he has introduced enhanced active shooter response protocols. As part of his training activities, he has also developed training programs for security officers to enable them to respond effectively to active shooter incidents. At the present time, JohnPaul serves as the CEO of BRACE. In his role as CEO of Brace, JohnPaul is responsible for all aspects of training, research, daily operations, risk assessment, and instructor training for the organization. A highly sought-after conference speaker, a broadcast commentator, and a commentator at major events, JohnPaul is a sought-after speaker. Before he founded BRACE, JohnPaul spent more than 20 years working in the security and safety industry, conducting risk assessments and providing protection to individuals including politicians, celebrities, and corporate executives.

Blane Tanner has over 13 years of experience working in the criminal justice system and in social work for public agencies. He has worked in a variety of roles that have included corrections, counseling, mental health crisis work, emergency management, and investigating child protection cases. Blane is a licensed forensic interviewer and was commended by the Cowley County Sheriff's Office for providing exceptional service during his tenure there as a forensic interviewer. As a student at Wichita State University, Blane earned his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, his master's degree in Criminal Justice, and his master's degree in Social Work as well. In addition, he completed the Heartland Public Manager Training program at the University of Kansas and is a certified public manager. Furthermore, as well as specializing in the continuity of operations of agencies and emergency planning, Blane also offers training development support, including the facilitation of training.
